THE main purpose of the Young Spiders is to encourage existing young supporters and make them feel more a part of the club through a variety of events, and also to attract more young supporters.
There's no defined age group - but we're certainly getting some young recruits - from just months old right up to 16.
Membership went through the 50-barrier last season, and we're determined to see it grow even more. We've managed to recruit some youngsters from England, like James Turnbull. We've also got our first set of twins in Ashley and Lindsay McKeown.
Frank McCrossan and David James operate the club, with a lot of assistance from supporters like Alan Raeburn and Kevin Williams, as an offshoot of the Queen's Park Supporters' Association.

Activities enjoyed by the youngsters include the chance to see round the stadium, and be pictured (below) with members of the first team squad on the hallowed Hampden turf.
There are also regular competitions for club members, including one each season where the prize is to be match day mascot. That's a dream come true for any young Spider who gets the chance to meet and run on the the Hampden pitch with the team.
