THE first Young Spiders competition of Season 2007/08 was a Guess the Scores contest, which finished with the game at Alloa on Saturday, January 5.

The competition involved the youngsters forecasting the scores of the QP league games up to the New Year. They were awarded points for getting the correct result and extra points for forecasting the exact score.

The winner was seven-year-old Calum James, from Neilston, the grandson of Blair James who produced the recent pictorial book on Queen's.

The youngster is pictured with his prize - a football autographed by the Queen's Park players.
