Appropriately named keeper established himself in the Juniors as a penalty stopper of the highest calibre. Signed for Queen's in May 2011 from Arthurlie, Neil has also been with Stenhousemuir and Petershill and Arthurlie. Almost an ever-present for the Spiders last season, Neil kept 11 clean sheets.

Young goalkeeper who made an unforgettable debut by saving a penalty with his first touch in senior football as a substitute in a 1-1 draw at Elgin last season after the dismissal of Neil Parry.

Club captain Sinclair is the longest serving member of the playing staff and is also used in a coaching role. Broke into the side at the age of 17 during the 1999-2000 championship season, making 17 appearances, and was part of the squad which won promotion seven years later, giving him the unique honour of being promoted more than once at Queen’s Park.

Given the weighty responsibility of being a near ever-present for Queen’s in their difficult second season in the Second Division at the age of 20, Brough rose to the task and even proved himself as a goal threat. A bad injury midway through season 2010-2011 didn’t deter him from coming back a better player last season, alongside Ricky Little. Now unfortunately he has to juggle playing with his work commitments in the police.

Formerly of Partick Thistle, where he first played under Gardner Speirs, the current first team captain was initially only a loan player at Queen’s. When he signed on a permanent basis, the former Jag looked more comfortable at centre-back than in his original right-back berth. His talents blossomed further alongside Andy Millen, and Ricky earned a nomination in the SFL3 team of the year for season 2010-2011. He was recognised by his peers again last season by winning a place in the SFL3 select.

At 18, Gall was given his chance by Gardner Speirs in the 2009-2010 campaign. Alongside James Brough, he showed maturity beyond his years as the Spiders’ wonderful defensive record secured a place in the play-offs. He lost his place in the team the following season after the signing of Andy Millen but has bounced back to play in either midfield or in the back four.

Highly-rated Northern Irishman Bradley started at Cowdenbeath before being one of Danny Lennon’s first signings at St Mirren. Gardner Speirs was delighted to bring him to the club in the summer of 2011 and he will now fancy his chances of an extended run in the first team after the departure of Darryl Meggatt.

Fearless and skillful midfielder has been at the heart of the side since arriving at Hampden - as recognised by Player of the Year awards in his two seasons at the club. A hamstring injury at the end of last term undoubtedly played a big part in scuppering QP's chances of promotion. Spent 10 years in the Juniors, most prominently, with Kilbirnie Ladeside, and has had no trouble in adapting to senior football.

Michael returns to the club after a six-year absence, as he had a short-lived spell at Hampden in 2006. He is likely to feature heavily now after serving his time in the Juniors, earning a good reputation at former clubs Petershill and then Arthurlie as a powerful central midfielder with leadership skills and an excellent shot.

Competitive midfielder who got his break in the first team after promotion from the youths in season 2009-2010, playing in almost every game and he did the same the following campaign. A hip injury destroyed his chances of a run in the side last season.

Left-sider with an excellent ability to send in crosses and free-kicks and has chipped in with a few goals. Started his career at St Mirren before moving to Airdrie United.

Alan made his debut in the opening game of last season against Hamilton Accies but has mostly since plied his trade in the Strollers and under-19s. A confident central midfielder and Scotland under-18 cap who, along with Paul Gallacher, has enjoyed the benefits of the Da Vinci Youth Project in Turkey.

Left-sided player who was promoted to the first-team squad just before the start of the season after some impressive displays in the QP youth teams. Andy can play at the back, in the midfield - or up front - and looks a really exciting prospect.

Son of old Queen's Park favourite Paul, Owen has a bright future ahead if he can continue to display the form he showed last season. With great pace and confidence, he had defences worried and was an effective substitute and starter.

Craig is one of the fastest players in the Scottish leagues and coupled with an eye for goal, he is a terrifying prospect for opponents when on form. His erratic style resulted in the former Ashfield forward being rotated as a starter and substitute at times but his goal return was good and his pace can create openings for others.

Two leg breaks and countless other injuries have not been enough to deter "Quinno" from reinventing himself as an effective forward who gives absolutely everything for the club. Enjoyed a deserved testimonial dinner last season for his 10-year tenure at Queen's and is second only to Richard Sinclair in terms of service. His eight goal tally last season was his best ever return for one season – remarkable considering that he was far from an ever-present and played through the pain barrier for much of it.

Just one of the exciting young talents looking to break through from the QP youth ranks. Lawrence is a striker with an eye for goal and made his debut at Hampden towards the end of last season.

Still only 22, "Chuckie" is firmly established as a favourite with the QP support. Although he can tend to be a bit ionconsistent, he has blistering pace, a talent for scoring the spectacular - and is a brave as they come.

In scoring 20 league goals last season, Jammer became Queen's Park highest goalscorer for one campaign in over 30 years. Coming with David Anderson from Kilbirnie Ladeside in the summer of 2010, his tireless effort and goalscoring prowess made him a hero at Hampden almost immediately. Not merely a goalscorer, PE teacher Longworth frequently tracks back into midfield to link up play and start attacks from deep. His accurate shooting and ability in the air make him a nightmare for all defences.

Another promising prospect from the QP youth academy, Scott will be looking to establish himself in the first-team squad, although the defender knows he will face plenty of opposition for a starting slot.

Pacy youngster who operates on the left and can cause problems for defenders. Made his senior debut last term at Annan, and has now been promoted to the first team squad.

Latest recruit to the Spiders, having signed in October. Vastly experienced former Celtic starlet can occupy a number of positions on the left-hand side of the park.
