Tasty night for Hampden faithful

MORE than 200 guests enjoyed the annual Queen's Park FC dinner in Hampden on Friday, November 20.
The evening started off with a tour of the Museum, before guests took their seats in the Lomond Suite for the meal.
The dinner helped celebrate the Hampden XI's victory in the centenary Scottish Amateur Cup, and there were also special presentations made to a number of players on the night.
The speeches were kicked off by Museum Curator Richard McBrearty who gave a fascinating insight into the debt football owes the original pioneers from Queen's Park.
SFA Chief Executive Gordon Smith put the stresses of office behind him for the night to deliver a humorous talk on the state of Scottish football, before the evening was brought to a close by Emil Pacholek's amusing finale - "one for the road".
