We have been drawn in group E with Patrick Thistle, Queen of the South, Stenhousemuir and Airdrieonians.

In each group teams will play each other once in a round-robin format on each of 16, 20, 23, 27 and 30 July (subject to live broadcast selections). In the First Round Group Stage there are three points for a win and one point for a draw, with drawn matches in the Group Stage going straight to a penalty shoot-out and the winner of the penalty shoot-out being awarded a bonus point.

Fixture release day 2016/17

The SPFL can today confirm that the publication of fixtures for the 2016/17 Ladbrokes Premiership, Championship, League 1 and League 2 seasons is scheduled to take place on Friday 17 June.

All four divisions will begin on the weekend of Saturday 6 August.

We have updated our Queen’s Park and The Great War page with a number of responses to the initial papers provided by Frank McCrossan and Fred Ellsworth on the above project – aiming to provide a more complete picture by July 2017 of the 223 Queen’s Park members, players and former players known to have served; 32 of whom are now known to have made the supreme sacrifice.
